Voiceover Casting – Female AI / Robot Voice

We are casting a female voiceover artist for an upcoming animated project.

We’re looking for a woman with a natural, authentic RP / Standard British accent who can convincingly voice a tween-aged character. The voice could also have a slightly genderless quality – we’re interested in something that feels young without being overly feminine.

The character is an AI/robot, and we’re imagining the voice as having the clarity and precision of something like Alexa, but with more personality and a subtle digital distortion. We want it to feel understated and believable rather than like a stereotypical “robot” voice. There should still be a sense of character and emotion underneath the slightly synthetic quality.

We’re looking for someone with:

A natural RP / Standard British accent
The ability to convincingly voice a tween
Strong vocal characterisation and acting ability
Clear, precise diction
The ability to introduce a subtle synthetic/digital quality to the voice
A good ear for taking direction and experimenting with vocal choices

Professional voiceover experience is a bonus, but we’re also very interested in actors with strong character voices and a natural RP accent.

For the initial casting, please submit your profile and any relevant voice reels or samples. We will review submissions and contact those we’re interested in taking through to the next stage.

Selected actors will then be given specific self-tape instructions and material to record.

The final recording will take place in a professional studio during September 2026, with the exact date to be confirmed. Ideally, we’re looking for someone based in Greater London to make the recording process as straightforward as possible, although we may consider talent based elsewhere.

Fee: £300 inclusive of all usage.
