"My Boy Danny" is a compelling play by the talented Alfie James, a recognized writer, actor, and director. The narrative centers around Ange, who every night peers out her window hoping to see her son for one last time, only to find a mysterious shadow in his place for the past eleven months. Desperate for answers, she eventually invites this shadow into her life.

Rory, an ordinary, awkward teenage boy, experienced a fateful night that changed everything. Now, he is eager to share his story and connect with a woman he has never met but knows intimately.

The play enjoyed sold-out performances at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre and Theatre Deli. It has since been expanded into a full-length production.

The role of LEAH, though supporting and appearing in just three scenes, is crucial to the storyline. We are seeking an actor available for approximately six rehearsals leading up to our shows in early November in both Kelvedon, Essex, and Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

A small, yet hugely poignant role in the play. Leah is a teenage girl and friend to the two leads. She's tough, street wise and has become mixed up with a gang.

Those shortlisted will be asked to attend a short audition on Thursday 13th August.
We're looking for someone available to attend around 6 rehearsals in the lead up to our performance. The part consists of two main scenes and 1 additional non dialogue scene.
