The Care of Trainees roleplays are an integral part of the British Army's training program for instructors and line managers as they advance in rank. We hire actors to portray recruits and junior soldiers from the British Army, RAF, or Navy in scenarios focused on welfare and pastoral care. These roleplays aim to enhance the listening skills and guidance abilities of line managers, including Corporals, Sergeants, Warrant Officers, and Officers. The preferred acting age range is 18-24, and actors should convincingly resemble recruits or soldiers. Males should be clean-shaven with neat, short hair. Candidates with experience in cadets, as Reservists, or with a background in the British forces are especially encouraged to apply.

Andrychowski compensates for perceived average ability by maintaining exceptionally high personal standards and dress. Currently feeling under pressure from the theoretical aspects of the course, they are suffering from sleep deprivation due to recurring dreams and flashbacks about a past car accident.

As a passenger in a crash where a drink-driver hit a motorcyclist (causing life-changing injuries and the driver's imprisonment), Andrychowski carries deep guilt for not stopping the driver. They feel like they are "losing the plot," but hesitate to seek help—mistakenly believing TRiM/Welfare options are only for military incidents, and rejecting Chaplaincy support due to their atheist beliefs. Key Objectives:

Resolve intrusive trauma memories and overcome crash-related guilt.

Restore sleep and manage academic stress.

Reframe support services so they feel comfortable seeking help to successfully complete the course.
