Seeking talented performers in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area!

We are on the hunt for dynamic and confident actors to join us this summer at some incredible English Heritage locations. Your role will be to evoke the charm of the 1950s summer holiday, independently engaging with visitors as you roam the grounds, participating in games, and sharing the stories that make these historic sites special. We are looking for performers with exceptional experience in maintaining character throughout the day and proven expertise in working with children, as these events are designed for families.

Live event runs 31 July, 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-31 Aug. (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) 15 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

Immersive 1950's Roaming Character

The sites will have a range of activities on across the day, including mini games, circus games, puppet shows and more. You will be roaming the site in character, participating in these games with the families and kids in attendance, and also hosting some of your own fun filled holiday themed games. There will be opportunities for prop comedy, storytelling and more to make sure everyone in attendance walks away with their own special memories for the summer holidays!

Experience working with children or at family events is a must. Your role will be prepped and supported in online rehearsals by a theatrical director.
