As a Costume Character at LEGOLAND® Resort, you will bring beloved LEGO® characters to life through engaging performances, guest interactions, and entertainment experiences. You will help create memorable moments for families by portraying a variety of costumed characters, maintaining high performance standards, and delivering exceptional guest service throughout the resort.
Key Responsibilities
Perform as a designated costume character in accordance with show, parade, and meet-and-greet requirements.
Engage with guests of all ages through non-verbal communication, gestures, and character movement.
Participate in character appearances, parades, special events, seasonal celebrations, and promotional activities.
Maintain character integrity, ensuring consistent and professional performances at all times.
Work closely with entertainment hosts and fellow performers to create immersive guest experiences.
Follow all costume care, health and safety, and operational procedures.
Assist with guest flow management and queue interaction where required.
Attend rehearsals, training sessions, and performance briefings as scheduled.
Represent the LEGOLAND® brand in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
Skills and Experience
Previous performance, dance, theatre, or entertainment experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong non-verbal communication and storytelling abilities.
Energetic, outgoing, and confident personality.
Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
Good German language skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to wear a full-body costume for extended periods.
Comfortable performing outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, dance, and move energetically throughout the working day. - Salary
- €22.00 per hour PAYE - (Angestelltenverhältnis) Contract Hours: 8 hours per day (including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break) Contract Days: 5 days per week
