We are casting a vertical drama for the production company Reel Force. The director is experienced and well respected, someone who I have worked with before and really like.

We will doing all the shortlisting from your showreels followed by final casting via self tape for this.

Anya Sterling is selfless woman who secretly donates a kidney to save a powerful mafia boss is forced into a toxic marriage of neglect when her manipulative sister steals the credit for the sacrifice.

The narrative shifts between a grim, present-day hostage crisis and the five years of torment that led up to it. Years prior, Anya Sterling secretly donates her kidney to save the life of her true love, mafia boss Caleb Thorne. However, her sister Victoria convinces Caleb that she was the donor. To shield Victoria from mafia dangers, Caleb enters into a sham, neglectful marriage with Anya while continuing to obsess over Victoria.

Anya is continuously subjected to heartbreaking betrayals: Caleb forces her to give her custom wedding gown to Victoria abandons a severely injured Anya during a wedding-day sniper attack to rescue Victoria , and subjects Anya to an aggressive, volatile wedding night. The tragic cycle of abuse ultimately pushes Anya toward her breaking point, leading to a dark, high-stakes confrontation over her unborn child and an eventual chance at escaping into the protection of Dr. Elias Hart.

Anya Sterling is innocent, beautiful, vulnerable yet internally strong. She must be able to act well with her eyes and face as several of the key moments for her character are her seeing other people do things that affect her negatively.

She is deeply sympathetic, resilient, and tragic. She has harbored an unwavering love for Caleb for five years —even donating her own kidney to save his life. Despite her immense sacrifices, she is constantly sidelined, gaslit, and left behind by her husband in favor of her sister. She is emotionally battered but holds an enduring grace and inner strength, which eventually shatters when she faces ultimate betrayal.

Requires high emotional range. Must be able to portray profound vulnerability, physical pain, heartbreaking betrayal, and raw terror.

She has a couple of violent scenes and one sexual scene with her husband on her wedding night. There is no full nudity and there will be intimacy co ordinator on set.
