Roles Details

Title
Rachel
Content
Rachel is a British Transport Police officer whose shift unfolds over the course of a single night. She responds to a series of increasingly challenging frontline incidents, ranging from public disorder and safeguarding situations to serious and traumatic events.

The film is largely non-verbal, meaning the performance relies heavily on physicality, stillness, and subtle emotional expression rather than dialogue. The actor must be able to convey resilience, emotional control, and internal conflict through face and body alone, as Rachel moves continuously between duty-driven professionalism and the personal impact of what she witnesses.

Rachel is also a working mother, and brief moments of contact with her family provide rare emotional contrast within an otherwise intense shift.

Rachel never loses her composure on camera , even when taking a rogue elbow, a bottle to the head, or kneeling beside a victim of sexual assault. The role requires an actor who can hold back tears while still letting the audience feel everything. Police procedural experience or a physical/action background is advantageous but not essential.

Filming will take place on both the 21st & 22nd July in the midlands. On set catering & accommodation will be provided for both nights.
