"WHEN YOU ARE A TICK" is a surreal and violent comedy with musical elements—think of A Clockwork Orange blended with a philosophy seminar and a touch of Annette. The story follows a group of young Brits who discover a philosophy book in a stolen briefcase, leading them to rationalize their crimes and adopt increasingly radical beliefs. We are seeking an actor from a global majority background to portray the final member of this trio of thugs. Given our tight schedule, shortlisted candidates will be contacted at the start of next week to submit self-tapes, with the goal of finalizing casting by the end of the week in preparation for the first rehearsal on the 17th.

Performing on the 28th and 29th July in the Hope Theatre, Islington and 6-23rd August at Zoo venues, Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer. You must be available for all performance dates. We are expecting around 10 rehearsals in London between mid-June to late July, dates TBC.
Company members will be expected to help with flyering etc at the Fringe.
