We're seeking seasoned actors (you must have a showreel) for a significant global video project aimed at English language learners. We are especially keen to hear from those who speak English as a second language and can provide a variety of genuine international accents and cultural perspectives.

Candidates should be adept at memorizing and performing scripted English dialogue, following on-set directions, and portraying multiple characters as needed.

Dates

Filming in a Green Screen Studio in Birmingham, across 3 batches.
Batch 1: 5 days in July (w/c 27th July).
Batch 2: 9-12 days in September (Dates TBC)
Batch 3: 9-12 days in November (Dates TBC)

Actors will portray a range of characters across a large-scale series of English language learning videos. Roles may include colleagues, friends, family members, customers, managers, hotel guests, restaurant staff, shop assistants, presenters and other everyday characters.
Actors will be required to perform multiple roles throughout the project and should be confident adapting their performance, appearance and characterisation to suit different scenarios.


Strong script-learning ability is essential, as actors will be expected to deliver natural, engaging performances across a variety of scripted dialogues.

The videos will support learners at different stages of their English language journey, from beginner through to advanced levels. Actors should therefore be able to adapt their performance to suit varying levels of language complexity and communication styles. Experience in ELT preferred.

Salary

The rate is £300 per filming day, plus travel. An example: For Batch 1, 4 days filming will be required, so £1,200 for the project. Travel expenses are added.
