CASTING NOTICE: FLASH — Horror Short Film

A determined journalist eager to revive his career infiltrates a restricted murder scene before the authorities can intervene. Once inside, he uncovers that the killings may not have been perpetrated by humans, but by a parasitic entity seeking its next host.

We are a small group of up-and-coming filmmakers seizing a rare chance to craft something visually daring and genuinely thrilling. This project is being filmed using an unreleased cinema camera package and over £200,000 worth of top-tier lenses. Our Director of Photography currently has limited access to one of a select few of these camera systems globally, making this shoot extraordinarily distinctive for all involved.

Due to the pressing timeframe to film this project, we decided to proceed without securing full funding.

We are casting the role of Security Guard for FLASH, a cinematic horror short currently in production.
Role:
A night security guard patrolling an abandoned building who unexpectedly encounters the film’s protagonist near the climax of the story. What begins as a tense confrontation quickly spirals into something far more terrifying when the guard becomes one of the creature’s next victims.

Dialogue scenes included.

Salary

As this is a zero budget film we can only provide expenses for the role. Please only apply if this is something you'd be comfortable with, we are looking for someone to join us who may need experience, credits or showreel material.
