Hard requirement: Must hold a valid full UK Category C+E (HGV Class 1) licence. This is a working production — the actor will drive a fully loaded articulated lorry on the day. Proof of licence required at application. No licence = no interview.
This character is not a Hollywood hero - he's a real bloke doing a hard job he's proud of. He should look like he's been behind the wheel for years: plaid shirt, worn jacket, work boots. The film opens at 04:00 in the dark and ends with him hugging his kid at the front door. The arc is loneliness → relief → happiness. He needs to carry all three without a single line of dialogue. Casting should feel like we found a real HGV driver who can act - not an actor playing one. - Salary
- £750 / day Estimated 3 days of work Total: £2,250
- Gender
- Male Only
- Age
- 30 - 50
