Casting "The Deadline." Synopsis: Straight university student called Mason Smith overhears a student talking about their partner who takes the performing arts course and starts joking with his friends, Judy Johnson, Mohammad Jay and Brian Lockhurt about how performing arts is only for Gays and Girls, his teacher, Maggie Tompson overhears this and just so happens to be best friends with the performing arts teacher, and so the next morning the teacher has a special surprise for Mason, His final project, is to create a full musical in one week, complete with script, costume designs, sets, props and choreography of the opening number performed by the whole of his class who he has to convince to partake mixed with the performing arts class, if he fails this project then the last 3 years on his course had been useless and he fails his course, if he passes he gets his diploma, which one happens? The audience will decide.
Additional: Production cannot pay for travel or accommodation so you must be able to get to rehearsals and performances by your self. You will also be a part of the original cast recording. There also might be cast merchandise depending on budget. We expect to do 12 weeks of rehearsals, 3 times a week and 3 weeks of shows with 3 shows a week. after those 3 weeks are up there will be a 5% pay rise per extra week we do.
Special Instructions:
You will have to read from a scene, sing a song and do a dance of your choice. The song and scene will be provided to you. once you apply, if you meet the criteria you will be messaged with a form you need to fill out and the email you have to send it to. You must submit this form via email otherwise your application will not be accepted. If you turn up on the day and you are not on the list, you will be turned away. - Dates

Mohammad is both funny and empathetic, a bridge between humour and heartfelt care. He is straight, and his presence brings stability and warmth to the ensemble. Production is looking for a strong, emotionally open actor who can balance humour with deep compassion.
