Lead role.
Character is female, late 20s - early 30s.

Miranda is ambitious and driven, resourceful and creative. Though she wasn’t always. As a kid she felt invisible to the world, but after her quarter-life crisis from losing her job, she’s looking to change all that. Taking her self-taught skills in crafting, she’s going to be the next big voice in the DIY/maker space.

Unfortunately the algorithm doesn’t care. Her attempts to break into the zeitgeist aren’t working; she’s losing money and it’s causing friction with her boyfriend. Despite this, Miranda presses on, for she knows all it takes is one video to pop off and the rest is history.

The allure of being on the other side of a parasocial relationship has clouded out the real life connections Miranda has. What good is the praise of one person, when you can be liked by thousands online?
