I am casting for a vertical drama filming in London. I am looking for someone fearless for the role of Flora snd someone who is handsome and charismatic for the role of Adrian.

Please only suggest actors based within the M25 of London as we are only paying £15 per day for transport.

The story follows Flora, a young nun raised in a strict monastery where contact with men is forbidden. She struggles internally with emerging sexual desire and temptation, which intensifies after hearing a confession describing an affair.

Her life changes when Adrian, a wounded fugitive and wealthy heir, arrives at the monastery seeking refuge. Flora hides him, breaking her vows. As she cares for him, a forbidden attraction grows into a passionate relationship, leading her to question her faith and identity.

Meanwhile, Adrian is being hunted by Victor Cosgrove, a ruthless antagonist seeking control of Adrian’s inheritance. The monastery becomes a battleground as armed men search for him.

There are scenes of a sexual nature in this film. The team are considering using body doubles for these scenes depending on how comfortable the actors feel about them. There are scenes of kissing and scenes where flora will be seen naked from the back.

Mother Superior is the authoritative and formidable leader of the monastery, a woman who embodies strict religious doctrine, discipline, and control. She rules with an uncompromising belief in order, purity, and obedience, viewing any deviation from these principles as a direct threat to the sanctity of God’s house. Her presence is commanding and often intimidating, using fear, punishment, and psychological pressure to maintain authority over the nuns. However, beneath her exterior lies a more complex figure—one shaped by responsibility, tradition, and the burden of protecting her institution. As the story unfolds and outside violence invades the monastery, her rigid beliefs are tested; she is forced into uneasy alliances and morally difficult decisions, particularly when confronted with Victor’s brutality. Despite her harsh actions—such as punishing Flora—there are glimpses of internal conflict and reluctant compassion, especially in moments where she recognises the injustice of what is happening. Ultimately, Mother Superior represents the tension between faith and control, authority and vulnerability, making her a layered antagonist whose motivations are rooted not in malice, but in a desperate need to preserve order in a collapsing world.

£180 per day approx 7 days (£1,260)between 5th May and 12th May £50 wardrobe and table read 1st May Transport costs capped at £15 per day ( with receipts)
