Casting for a very exciting new play "Lions Versus Elephants" by Graham Dillistone at the Edge Theatre in Manchester directed by Roger Haines.

Lions vs Elephants is a sharp, character-led comedy set in Wilmslow at the start of the new millennium.

It follows two couples whose lives collide over the course of an evening, revealing a web of frustrations, desires, and hidden insecurities. At its heart, it’s about relationships, love, resentment, status, and the quiet disappointments of everyday life, all explored with humour, honesty, and a distinctly Northern voice.

We’re looking for actors with strong comedic instincts and a grounded, truthful approach to performance, with the ability to handle a slightly heightened “posh Northern” tone.

We encourage submissions from all backgrounds and are committed to diverse, inclusive and accessible casting.

(Most days 10:00am – 6:00pm and Saturdays 11:00am – 4:30pm)

Performance Dates: Wednesday 10th – Sunday 14th June
(Evenings: 7:30pm – 10:00pm, Saturday: 2:00pm & 7:30pm, Sunday: 5:00pm)
