Japanese co-production filming a Toronto Unit. To be released on Amazon Prime. This is a Full ACTRA IPA production. This is a quick turnaround and all talent will be selected from their self-tapes. No call backs or fittings ahead of time. Please understand there is no extensions as we are on a tight schedule.
This is for Toronto Residents only, must be able to prove Ontario residency and be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident legally able to work within Canada. Filming will take place in Downtown Toronto and must be able to self transport to set. We are looking only for ACTRA performers.

Storyline: Follows the unpredictable actions of Kaieda Shiro in the Japan's first nuclear submarine, as he attempts to realize his ideal world. The story makes audience think about true peace amidst the complexities of international relations.

White or Black Boy 5 - 8 years old. 1 line, must be able to convey a variety of emotions from smiling and excited, neutral, to serious/inquisitive. We would prefer an ACTRA performer, but are open to the right non union performer and will permit if needed. Preference of Engagement will be followed. We would love the actual parent to be a Background performer holding the Childs hand in shot on the day. This is not required, but preferred. They would be paid ACTRA BG rates based on their union status and they do not need to be a member of ACTRA. There will be a minors coordinator, and the scene does not contain any violence or anything of a graphic nature. ACTOR role - guaranteed 1 day
