Character Arc: The script's moral center. She is surviving an exploitative, dangerous system while protecting her son and maintaining extraordinary dignity. She doesn't perform victimhood; she performs competence, constantly. Her arc moves from endurance toward agency: she goes from Stacks' "best girl" to the woman who drives out of the tunnel with the ledger and her son.
