We are creating a character-driven, scripted series for social media in collaboration with a prominent home improvement company. This series is set on a neighborhood street and portrays the lives of residents through a blend of light drama and subtle humor.
The style is natural and grounded, with performances emphasizing authenticity, akin to a contemporary soap opera or mockumentary rather than a typical advertisement.
We seek actors capable of delivering nuanced, credible performances, prioritizing character depth over exaggerated comedic elements.
Filming will occur in Gloucestershire, with opportunities for recurring roles in multiple episodes.
This project is intended as a continuing series, offering the potential for actors to reprise their roles as the campaign evolves.

Billy is the absent ex — a man defined more by what he doesn’t do than what he does.
He’s unreliable, evasive, and emotionally unavailable. The kind of person who disappears without explanation and has likely done so more than once. His behaviour suggests a pattern — not a one-off.
There’s a sense that Billy has taken advantage of his girlfriend’s good nature in the past, leaving her in a cycle of disappointment. He’s not necessarily aggressive or dramatic — just quietly selfish, avoidant, and a bit feckless.
Slightly “past his best” but still thinks he’s got options. - Salary
