Submission Instructions
This project contains intimacy (kissing, embracing, and suggestive movement — no nudity). Real-life couples are strongly encouraged to apply. All intimate content will be discussed and agreed upon in advance, performer boundaries will be respected, and intimate scenes will be filmed on a closed set with clear consent-based communication. Project Synopsis
This is an MFA graduation project consisting of three short advertisement films (each under 1 minutes) exploring playful metaphor in special-category product advertising. The films blend AI-generated imagery with live-action footage to create a visually inventive, humor-driven style — think witty and suggestive, never explicit. We are casting one real-life couple (any ethnicity, ages 20–35) to play the lead pair across all three shorts. Total shoot time is approximately 8 hours (one full day)
Additional Information & Safety Protocols:
INTIMATE CONTENT PROTOCOLS: All scenes involving physical intimacy are limited to kissing, embracing — there is no nudity or simulated sex. Before the shoot, the director will walk through every intimate moment with both performers in detail, confirm boundaries, and document agreed-upon actions in a written content disclosure form that both parties will sign. Performers may withdraw consent for any specific action at any time, including on the day of filming, with no penalty. Intimate scenes will be filmed on a closed set with only essential crew present.

GENERAL INFO: This is a graduate thesis project at Beijing Film Academy. The final films will be used for academic evaluation and may be submitted to student film festivals or posted on the director's portfolio. Salary

$100 CAD honorarium per performer for this student thesis production, plus meals, screen credit, and a copy of the finished film.
