Male, 50s–70s. A deeply devout, eccentric puppet maker whose warmth, fragility, and unsettling intensity live side by side. Lenny carries himself with the tenderness of a caretaker and the conviction of a true believer, but beneath his soft-spoken manner is something obsessive, wounded, and quietly dangerous. He should feel capable of genuine compassion while also suggesting a man who has disappeared into his own private theology. The actor should be able to balance eerie stillness, strange humor, and spiritual fervor without tipping into caricature.
