Playing age: 16-19. Jay is jovial, energetic, and attention-seeking. The group’s class clown and resident trickster. He masks insecurity with constant jokes, teasing, and mockery, particularly toward Fode and Edwyn, whom he affectionately labels “nerds.” Highly competitive and desperate to prove himself, Beneath the bravado is a young man disconnected from his emotions, using performance and humor to avoid vulnerability. The performance should balance comedic timing with flashes of insecurity and emotional avoidance.
