Description
We’re looking for performers who immediately feel authentically of the period — grounded, working-class, and believable as players from an era before modern sports science, grooming, and fitness culture. These men should look like they’ve come straight out of a post-war dressing room: hardy, weathered, and real.
Age / Look - Playing age: ideally 25–30
However: it’s absolutely fine (and encouraged) if they read older than their actual age
Faces with character: lined, lived-in, no “fresh-faced model” look
Build / Physicality
Not the sculpted, athletic physique associated with today’s professionals
Think solid, practical builds: strong from life and labour rather than the gym
Period-appropriate silhouettes: broader shoulders, sturdier frames, or naturally lean builds are all welcome, as long as they feel believable for the time
Overall Feel
Must convincingly portray 1950s professional footballers: tougher, less polished, more “everyman”
Authenticity is key — we want performers who can look at home in vintage kits, muddy pitches, and old stadium environments - Salary
- BSF: £350 per day + £40 per hour overtime Usage: £650
- Gender
- Male Only
- Age
- 25 - 39
