My name is Dalano Barnes, I'm the director of the upcoming indie feature, Amongst Crows.
We recently raised part of the budget through crowdfunding by creating an audience around the film and have released a concept trailer on Youtube. We're now looking to cast for the major roles and are excited to share these with you.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Logline - A nomad shelters with a pagan cult against a looming threat that's been following him all of his life.
Short synopsis - A nomad is wounded whilst saving a pagan boy from a woman named Sergeant, who Nomad shares an unknown history with. Nomad is nursed back to health by the boy's cult - pagans named The Crows. He meets their leader - The Crowmother and they begin to fall for one another. But Nomad seeks vengeance for what Sergeant has done to him, bringing violence to The Crows.
Project Details - A micro-budget film that will be produced independently in Cornwall, UK. Part of the budget has been raised through crowdfunding (link here). This is the director's debut feature film (having directed previous short films and music videos, and prior to that an Editor in the industry). - Dates

The protagonist. Mid 30s looking. Male. Haunted by sadness and violence, the Nomad is injured helping a pagan boy from being killed, and in turn is rescued by the pagan community. As violence falls upon the pagans, Nomad responds the only way he knows, with more violence.

- Meeting above national wage currently, but raising more budget in order to pay better rates. Casting characters before the budget has been raised in order to better sell the project to financiers.
