In the commercial we see a Security Guard (with airport security equipment) attempt to stop a child from entering the living room with felt tip pens without the lids on.
The pens are “prohibited substances,” and can't be allowed near the new sofa. The tension builds as the child makes a gleeful dash toward the sofa and the guard reacts in horror.
- We would love to see talent with showreel footage.

The character is implied to be both the Security Guard and the child’s parent.
They should have a naturally authoritative presence with a strong deadpan delivery.
Comedy comes from restraint, not mugging — the actor must be able to stay completely straight while absurdity unfolds around them.
A face capable of micro-expressions is key: subtle eye narrowing, a flicker of panic, a perfectly timed gasp.
Think serious, competent, slightly self-important — someone who looks like they genuinely believe they are the last line of defence between order and chaos.
The role has gone to their head just a little. They issue instructions with absolute certainty, as if enforcing international law rather than guarding a sofa.
The exaggerated seriousness only makes the situation feel more precarious and absurd.
At the same time, the performance should retain a sense of warmth—they are, ultimately, still a parent.
Physicality should be controlled and precise, with small, deliberate movements (scanner wand handling, stance, posture). Any break in composure should feel rare and therefore funny.
The character should feel instantly credible as “security,” even in a living room. - Salary
