Simpatico Roleplay Agency is seeking freelance actors to join our pool for medical and veterinary roleplay work, delivered both face-to-face and online.
This work supports the training and development of healthcare and veterinary professionals in realistic, professional learning environments.
Actors must be willing to travel across East Anglia, Essex, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire. Driving is helpful but not essential.
Roleplay experience is welcomed but not essential — we are keen to hear from actors with strong communication skills, professionalism, and confidence working in improvised scenarios.
Actors must be available for online casting on 9th February.
If accepted onto our actor pool, work is offered on a freelance, ad-hoc basis throughout the year. There is no guarantee of regular work. - Dates

Actors will deliver realistic medical and veterinary roleplay scenarios for training purposes, working with healthcare and veterinary professionals in both face-to-face and online settings.
The role involves:
Portraying patients, clients, relatives, or colleagues within structured and Improvised scenarios
Responding authentically and consistently within role briefs
Improvising within set learning objectives
Delivering feedback in role (as the patient or client) when required
Being flexible, adaptable, and able to learn scenarios quickly
Taking direction and feedback from facilitators and educators
Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional realism
Actors may work in challenging or emotionally charged scenarios, always within a safe and supported training environment.
Work is offered on a freelance, ad-hoc basis throughout the year, subject to client demand.
Acceptance onto the actor pool does not guarantee work.
Travel may be required across East Anglia, Essex, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire, with some work delivered online.
Roleplay experience is welcomed but not essential; training and briefing will be provided where required. - Salary
- Rates typically range from approx £140 for a half day and around £210 for a full day. Filming work is paid at a higher rate.
