A Third Man is about a middle-age gay man whose marriage is in jeopardy after he and his husband invite a younger man to join them in the bedroom to rekindle their strained relationship.

There will be no erotic or explicit sexual scenes.

We recently finished the first audition and met many talented actors. But we didn't find the right pairs that could delivery the chemistry crucial to the film, unfortunately. So we are reopening the casting and look forward to meeting other actors that can create the right pairs and form the chemistry, likely with some actors in the previous round of the audition.

We will apply the film for international film festivals for screenings and competitions. The film will be made as a stand-alone short but also serve as a second proof-of-concept for a feature film in development. Our first proof-of-concept was an official selection of an LGBT+ film festival in Europe in 2025.

Shooting in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Salary

You will receive EUR 180 per shooting day; meals, snacks and drinks on the set; a final-cut of the film for your professional or personal use.
