Synopsis
When waiting for a lift home after a late shift, Josie finds herself navigating an increasingly uncomfortable interaction with a stranger. What begins as seemingly harmless quickly becomes threatening, revealing the subtle, internal calculations women make to protect themselves in public spaces

Josie is very approachable, calculated and socially fluent. She is someone who can read situations quickly and has learnt that politeness is a tool for managing people and risk. When a seemingly ordinary interaction turns, she’s ready to adapt in any way that keeps her safe.

This is a dialogue heavy role and is a great opportunity for an actor to showcase their abilities, requiring a strong screen presence and ability to show tension through subtle, internal reactions.

Note: This role explores themes of verbal harassment and intimidation.
