Set against the deprived backdrop of young Fabrizio’s life, a sharply spoken, upper-class presence immediately sets him apart. When his family’s wealth collapses, they are forced to move into a council estate with Fabrizio’s uncle, Giovanni. Shaken by the sudden change, Fabrizio struggles to survive in an unfamiliar and hostile environment. Though exposed to the pull of gang life, he resists it.

At 17, Fabrizio leaves for London, where he studies, takes on odd jobs, and ultimately rises to become a billionaire CEO. Each episode unfolds within the framework of a therapy session, gradually revealing Fabrizio’s inner battles — including abuse by his uncle — and his complex relationship with his psychotherapist, Kate.
