Tom Broughton Profile

Tom is a Mancunian actor, trained in Knutsford, Cheshire. He began acting age 10 when he joined the Excellence in Cities initiative in Greater Manchester where he performed in three shows at the Contact Theatre in Manchester. He look a break from acting before returning in August 2021, joining the Altrincham Garrick Company where he has since performed in eight shows ranging from 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' to 'A Streetcar Named Desire', 'Shakespeare in Love' to 'Piaf' and most recently 'Witness for the Prosecution'.

A highly versatile performer, Tom is equally adept at drama and comedy, hero and villain roles alike, and enjoys the challenge of taking on new roles.

Tom has also done small screen work in two projects with Cohort Pictures - the 2022 short film 'The Split' and a Christmas promotional film for Altrincham.
