ased in Sydney Australia, Tanika Douglas played the lead role in ‘Crush’, a short film that garnered worldwide festival success, and was nominated for an Australian Screen Editors Guild Award and screened at Flickerfest, HollyShorts and many other film festivals.
Tanika has worked on many projects - most notably playing the lead role of Courtney in Foxtel's ‘Facing Evil: The Courtney Schulhoff Story’, and Stef in the AACTA Social Shorts nominated ‘Sammy’, a short film by Enzo Tedeschi of Deadhouse Films, as well as a range of commercials, and films. Additionally, Tanika has worked as a presenter, appearing in Buzzfeed Videos with millions of views worldwide.
Since beginning acting at the age of twelve, Tanika has attended The Australian Film and Television Academy in both Sydney and Los Angeles, among other schools, and has worked with a large number of talented teachers, and many well respected Australian and American directors and casting directors.
