Steven Murphy Profile

I graduated from Winchester University with a degree in Theatre Studies after spending years working as a soldier and nightclub bouncer. Drawing on those experiences, I wrote and starred in my first feature film, Doorways, before going on to write, produce, direct and act in My Saviour, Relentless and Skull Hunter. Working across independent film has given me invaluable experience both in front of and behind the camera, but acting has always been my greatest passion. I also had the opportunity to play Popeye in the horror film series, which was an incredibly fun and unique role. I enjoy portraying complex, grounded characters and bring authenticity, resilience and commitment to every performance. I am currently in pre-production on my fifth feature film while continuing to seek exciting acting opportunities.
