About Me
I have been a BBC Radio broadcaster since October 2000 at BBC Radio Sussex (formerly BBC Southern Counties Radio). I was also a travel news presenter on BBC Radio 2 for many years.
I am the presenter on a new TV series (2025) called Tracing the Rails, which investigates disused railway lines.
I also work part time in the construction industry, and have considerable experience in house building, which was my family business.
I'm an on screen decorator on BBC1's Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr, as well as being a tradesman on other makeover shows.
I'm heavily in to fitness, notably weight training. And a final oddity, I was a Police Officer in Sussex Police for almost a decade in the 90s!
My main discipline is presenting, but I did speech and drama training over twenty years ago. I have been doing odd TV and presenting work alongside my radio broadcasting over two decades, as well as modelling (catalogue and commercial)
