Sophie Kronenberg Profile

I am a recent Guildford School of Arts graduate with a Distinction- level Master's in Acting. I have a passion for comedy, performing Shakespeare, and the Italian form Commedia dell' Arte.

I co-founded a theatre company during my Bachelor's degree, and subsequently became the ‘Artist in Residence’ at Kent University for 18 months in 2017. I co-wrote and performed in our original comedy plays, facilitating a tour of festivals in the South-East of England, before being invited to perform at FaCT Festival in Pisa, Italy. My theatre company has recently received funding and endorsement from the MAST Mayflower Studios in Southampton to pursue a new writing project.

I was most recently cast as ‘Celia’ in my GSA public production of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’. I will next be performing at the Camden Fringe Festival with GASP! Theatre Company in 'Girls Will Be Girls', Summer 2024.
