Sophia Ellis Profile

Sophia Ellis is a marathon runner, weight lifter, and black belt in Tung Soo Do! She graduated from the University of Alabama in May with a BFA in Acting and Vocal Performance Minor where she developed an individualized method through Stanislavski based acting training, Fitzmaurice voice and dialect coaching, and Alexander Technique movement lessons. Throughout college, Sophia was involved in multiple mainstage and student productions, as well as performed in various student films in lead and supporting roles. She recently portrayed the protagonist, Sarah Robinson, in a psychological thriller feature film titled "God of This Age". It wrapped October 4th, and it is set to release in theaters during the New Year! She is also a lead in a professional short film shot recently in New Orleans! She loves to read thriller books, watch movies, and practice the piano and electric guitar (she can play a slow yet rad version of the intro to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC).
