Sofia Vilar Profile

Sofia Vilar is a Portuguese actress and creator based in Lisbon. She starred in Situações Delicadas (2025) and After Link (2024), earning Best Actress at the Feel the Reel International Festival. Alongside acting, she develops original projects that merge writing, performance, and visual arts.

Sofia has built a versatile career across television, film, and theatre. Her recent work includes the comedy web series Vai Correr Tudo Bem (2023) and the bilingual short film After Link (2024), which brought her international recognition.

Beyond acting, Sofia creates and collaborates across artistic disciplines. In 2024, she co-directed with photographer Carlos Gomes the exhibition Sonhos, Cacos e Fruta Podre, blending her own poetry with photography, and performed a live piece featuring her text and a choreography co-created with Maria Helena.
