About Me
Sharon Facinelli has appeared in many films, theatre and musical productions. Formally appearing in Grand Opera she more recently appeared as Shirley Valentine in Willy Russell’s play directed by Paul Glaser at The English Theatre, ‘The Duke’ directed by BAFTA Award Winner Roger Michell (Notting Hill/My Cousin Rachel) and as Rizza in Pretty Bonnets directed by Mick Dow (Best Horror Comedy finalist, Horrible Imaginings Festival) She also recently played Ruby in Non-Bio, directed by Emmy and BAFTA Award Winner Simon Smith (National Treasure/Chernobyl) which debuted in Barbican London. Originally mentored by Val McLane (Auf Weidersehen Pet/Catherine Cookson) and Kath McCreery (Red Ladder Theatre) she went on to work internationally with Max Raniere a former member of Grotowski’s Poor Theatre and founder of T.A.M. She regularly performs in theatres as part of the Director’s Cut Theatre Company. Sharon is represented by Katherine Stonehouse Management.
