Sebastian Quint Profile

Born in Medellín, Colombia, and now based in Montreal, Sebastián Quint is a multidisciplinary Queer Colombian-Canadian artist, actor, and emerging producer passionate about telling stories that bridge cultures and celebrate underrepresented voices. A graduate of Dawson College’s Professional Theatre program and recipient of the Gary Plaxton Memorial Prize, Sebastián has performed across Canada, touring with Geordie Theatre’s 2Play Tour and collaborating with Concordia University and the Colombian government on a documentary theatre project addressing guerrilla violence. He wrote, produced, and starred in Marchita (2025), a short film exploring queerness and cultural taboos within Latinx communities, and is currently developing his debut play through the Young Creators Unit at Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal. His next project was recently selected for the Image+Nation Queer Story Lab, where he is being mentored by acclaimed filmmaker and producer Maxime Beauchamp (FEM).
