Began career at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, in the works of O'Casey, Synge, Yeats and Joyce. Toured as Parry in Borstal Boy (Odeon Theatre, Paris) & Sergeant Jones in The Shaughraun (Aldwych Theatre, London).
As a freelancer: played Creon in King Oedipus with Liam Neeson (Lyric Theatre, Belfast); Nicola in Arms and the Man (Royal Exchange, Manchester); Theseus in Phaedra (Lyric Hammersmith); Henry Albertson in The Fantasticks (Jermyn Street Theatre) & more recently: The Actor in The Woman in Black (English Theatre of Hamburg).
I've lived in London for the past 40 years & I'm frequently cast in British roles.
