Rufus Benfell Profile

I am a 23-year-old actor, based in Sussex. I graduated in 2023 with a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance from the University of Creative Arts Farnham. I am currently very active as a support artist in TV commercials, music videos, TV dramas, documentaries and in feature films including MCU productions. These include shoots at the major film studios and on location.

I have been acting since a young age starting at after-school drama clubs and, prior to University, I studied Drama /Performing Arts and Modern Dance at South Downs College and at the Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts. I have also attended Dance, Musical Theatre and Drama workshops at New York’s established Performing Arts & Dance Schools. I attained a triple BTEC Diploma with two Distinctions and a Merit.

I have played the lead character in many short films. I particularly enjoy playing comedy characters but can confidently adapt to being cast as the 'guy next door' or in more dramatic, dark and devious type roles.
