Ruby Jane Biggs Profile

I trained at The BRIT School for college (year 12-14). I studied musical theatre playing the role of Gavroche whilst also being assistant director in our final show. After finishing sixth form I gained a place on the year 14 Bridge Theatre Course at BRIT. This course provided many amazing opportunities such as being offered a scholarship to study Musical Theatre at The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. To finish the year at bridge our company devised two professional standard pieces of theatre ‘Torn’ directed by Philip J. Morris and ‘Everywoman, Everywoman, Everywoman, Everywoman’ directed by Julia Head. Both shows played at the New Diorama Theatre July 5th – 8th.

Bridge helped improve my teamwork skills and confidence working as part of a theatre company and writing shows that were later performed in off west end theatres. I’m keen to gain experience in the arts working alongside industry professionals e.g working as an extra or runner on film and tv sets.
