Riccardo Attanasio Profile

I am Riccardo Matlakas, a multidisciplinary performer and actor based in London. With a background in physical theatre and conceptual performance, my work blends movement, emotion, and narrative to bring characters to life in unique and impactful ways. I have strong skills in solo dance improvisation, combining fluidity and spontaneity with striking physical expression.

My performance style is deeply physical, often engaging with themes of transformation, identity, and human emotion. I’ve presented works at international festivals and venues, and bring to every role a distinctive presence shaped by training in Butoh, physical improvisation, and experimental theatre.

Whether on stage or screen, I approach performance with authenticity, sensitivity, and a flair for the unexpected. My goal is to tell stories that move audiences — sometimes literally.
