Pearl Benjamin Profile

I am a final-year Theatre and Performance student at the University of Leeds, with experience across stage, screen, and devised performance. During my degree, I have performed in three onstage productions, including a feminist piece exploring women in history, a contemporary work centred on female rage, and a performance addressing climate change. These projects strengthened my ability to engage with dramatic and socially driven material and to collaborate within ensemble-led work.
Alongside this, I played the lead role in a society-run murder mystery production, portraying a suspect, which required strong character development and improvisation. I have also worked on screen as the lead in a student short film, playing a woman dealing with illness, allowing me to develop emotional subtlety and naturalistic performance for camera.
