Coming from a journalism, live music and lifestyle photography background, Owen Rogers has extensive experience with action photography. He captures moments and identifies key figures while providing context in his images. A fixture within the New York City nightlife and music community before relocating to Atlanta, Owen began his career in the early 2010s. Over the last decade he has captured some of the culture’s most pivotal moments. A former journalism student at Penn State University, he has a keen eye and a desire to make every image tell a story. His time in city centers across the world has given Owen’s work a gritty urban aesthetic. Additionally his intimate access to subjects allows for clear narratives of music and personality to seep through each photo, while adding personal touch that allows his presence to loom in essence of each image.
