Oluwalonimi Owoyemi Profile

My Name is Oluwalonimi Owoyemi but everyone calls me Nimi. I am 18 years old and currently reside in Manchester but I was born in Nigeria. I have studied drama at Holy Cross College and was able to achieve my Lamda Gold (Grade 8) and Bronze (Grade 6) award. I can also Play the drums and a bit of the piano and I’m the lead singer and co songwriter for my band Splendour. I have successfully auditioned and gotten the role of Sebastian in Disney's The Little Mermaid which will be performed at Huddersfield's Lawrence Batley Theatre in April 2023. I was privileged enough to be one of the 24 selected out of 800 individuals who auditioned to take part in Frantic Ignition. This allowed me to be invited to London to devise a piece in a week. I was able to get the role of Seymour Krelborn in the Musical Little Shop of Horrors in my colleges show in 2022. I have achieved my lamda gold and bronze award in college
