Oliver Brindley Profile

My degree in Theatre and Performance has allowed me to develop as an actor, backing up my performances with relevant theories behind them. I have a well rounded practical understand on acting with the ability to play any role ranging from comedy to a devastating tragedy. My most recent work at the Loft Theatre in Leamington highlights this, taking on the ‘Fool’ in Terry Pratchett’s ‘Wyrd Sisters’ allowed me to portray a hilarious love interest. This differs from parts I usually play as I thrive under a villain role, leading me to Tristan Bernays’ ‘Boudica’ playing a disgustingly evil soldier. From this role I furthered my performing skills learning aspects of stage combat. The understanding of evil characters worked perfectly for ‘Professor Callahan’ in Legally Blonde at Leeds University and was met with unanimous praise on both vocals and acting. On a personal note I believe I am extremely easy to both get on and work with. I am always attached with a smile and a can do attitude!
