Nnennaya Ogugua Profile

I’m Nnennaya, a London based British actor of Czech and Nigerian heritage. I love characters that are messy, complicated, funny, uncomfortable or just properly human. I’m drawn to drama, dark comedy and slightly strange or unconventional work, but give me a good character and a good story and I’m there.

I trained at Identity School of Acting, Kingdom School of Arts and Sense Acting, and I’m currently on Kingdom’s Pro Development Hub scholarship programme, alongside workshops with GoHub and AKTA.

Outside acting I’m basically always making something. I have a Master’s in Screenwriting and I paint, illustrate, sculpt, design, tattoo and I’m currently creating my own comic book. I also sing and pole dance, so I love physical character work too.

I have a changeable look, visible tattoos and I’m always switching up my hair. Mostly, I just really love acting and want to make good stuff with interesting people.
