Namrata Juneja Profile

Namrata Juneja (Nina June on the stage/screen) has delved into many artistic forms throughout her career from singing in a cappella group Street Cred. to performing show tunes with the Lyric Ensemble of Delhi; lending her vocals to indie bands February31st & The Circus. She is also an arts educator and has developed 'Acting-through-Song', an acting-first approach to strengthen performance skills for singers.
Recent credits: Nina in Honey Queen Burlesque, Nimita Khosla in TheatreWorks’ staged reading of Nimita’s Place; Judy Steinberg in It Shoulda Been You (dir. Alvin Chiam); lead in MT collaborations with Fill the Vamp and Standstills Movement; Grace in musical film Stages Of (she also co-created} and dinner theatre host at experiential restaurant Absurdities. She also regularly practices improv with the global troupe Improvanopolis, founded by William Landsman. Other credits include Chicago (dir. Nikki Snelson); Seussical the Musical (dir. Edith Podesta) and Aida (dir. Joe Barros).
