Mpilo May Profile

I am an award-winning actor, musician and dancer. I trained at the University of Cape Town, with an MA in Film & Television Producing from Met Film School London as a Chevening Scholar. I toured a series of acclaimed satirical sketch-based one-man shows written by Mike Van Graan which I performed for 4 years and totalled over 500 performances. My theatre work spans musicals and classical theatre, including West Side Story, Jingleclaw at Birmingham Hippodrome, and playing William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love.

On screen, I appear as Eleazar in the Fox Nation drama David – King of Israel. Other screen credits include Devil's Peak Series (Drama-thriller) and Wounds Series (Medical drama).

Voice credits include a new character in the upcoming film - The Amazing Maurice 2, the voice of a new character in the game Brawl Stars, and commercial work for CNN, Amstel and Ernst & Young. Accents: South African (native), Standard American, African-American, Indian and British RP.
