Mike was born in Southampton,England. His mother Irish and dad Italian, he grew up in the Kent town of Deal and discovered a thirst for acting in his early teens, his first real major role was playing Fat Sam Staccetto in what was at the time, the first ever stage production of 'Bugsy Malone'. After leaving education he attended youth Theatre groups and spent many years acting on stage in amateur productions across south east England, most of the plays were classics such as 'Hobson's Choice', 'The Crucible', 'My Boy Jack', 'The Accrington Pals', 'Abigail's Party', 'Whose Life Is It Anyway?', 'Plaza Suite', and 'The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband' to name a few. He has also performed in a selection of radio plays and short films. His most recent work is to be released in 2024, 'The Miner's Son' is a re-imagining of events that took place during the Miners strike in 1984/85, playing Tom a recently widowed Yorkshire miner.
