About Me
The promise of music, food and love drew Mike to the role of Orsino in Twelfth Night in 2024. His third Shakespeare production and his umpteenth stage show. This one was a game-changer; resulting in a decision to move from keen amateur to professional performer. A cautious toe in the water, but long overdue after a career in professional engineering.
Summer 2025 was spent at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, the culmination of numerous training courses over the last 10+ years. A wonderful experience, which confirmed a strong desire to step up to professional level.
Mike excels in comedic roles, but really enjoys playing the villain. He’s an experienced character actor and sees his future as such. He has extensive theatrical experience, ranging from musicals to gloomy Russian stuff. He’s played in warm theatres and in the rain on village greens. It’s all great fun!
Mike is easy-going, makes an excellent cup of tea, and leaves his ego at home in the mornings.
